The updates work well; the only ones causing misfunction are the speaker and microphone drivers, not working anymore after update. We set them to "manual" to avoid misfunction. This is an issue for some time already.
The free version of Avast has worked for my computers for quite awhile. My only issue is that they include a notification when they scan my computer during regular daytime hours. My computer slows, seems to have glitches and it stresses me. A notification would alleviate that stress and I'd know to walk away for awhile until it's done.
This app makes me feel safe while browsing and it stops viruses and threats it is one of the safest antiviruses ever. It also disguises my address, and it makes me safe at all times. I highly recommend trying this app because it wonderful and safe

I bought your Avast app
I bought your Avast app Now it wants me to pay extra for products to remove certain Items. I thought this was included. So I would not recommend this to anyone.

Once on your computer the software is nearly impossible to remove. I have tried to simply uninstall all the software but I have not been successful. Constant pop up reminders and ads that do not go away

Destroyed my address book
I was recommended to AVAST by a friend. I signed up for a premium clean up, but the technician never saved the active system before he cleaned it! In the process, the technician proceeded to remove between 400 and 600 addresses from my computer, completely! I have stressed this loss as there was only the original dumped. The technician did find a 13-year-old address book in a file with less than 100 addresses total, and half of them were either dead or no longer had the same addresses.
Trying to contact AVAST with a simple request to cancel my wasted account and refund my money paid is virtually a lost cause! Worse, if you are a senior, depending on a computer to save what one puts in it!
I will not be returning AVAST to my system; I can guarantee you! It would be nice if they would at least refund my money wasted on them
